One of the biggest challenges today is the sustainability of the quality of life with respect to the environment. Addressing these challenges requires an interdisciplinary approach. Our institute sponsors bachelor, master and doctoral degree programmes that respond to these challenges and offer cutting-edge interdisciplinary education, a theoretical and practical foundation in all core chemical disciplines and specialisations in applied analytical, organic and environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology and modern environmental technologies.

The institute cooperates with a number of industrial partners and research and educational institutions in the Czech Republic and in a number of European (Austria, Italy, Germany, Scotland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, etc.) and non-European countries (USA, Korea, Japan, Israel).
