FCH cooperation with the foreign countries
Since its reestablishment in 1992 the Faculty of Chemistry of BUT draws on cooperation with the universities in Europe and in the world. Foreign mobilities of students and pedagogues are insured by means of the contracts by the department for study, science, research and foreign affairs of the Faculty of Chemistry, which cooperates with foreign department of BUT. On the basis of bilateral agreements the teacher, students of master and doctoral study programmes and science workers travel on the stage abroad and foreign teachers, lectors, scientists and students come to the FCH to Brno for short - termed and longer stays. The most of students travel abroad in the framework of programme SOCRATES/ERASMUS. Thanks to this programme the students have possibility to exchange the experience with colleagues from more than 20 european universities. Currently the FCH made contracts with technical universities in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal and Slovenia. Of course, official partner universities of the FCH are all foreign universities which have partner contract with BUT (besides above mentioned unis in Great Britain, Spanien, Japan, Canada, Slovakia and in other countries). Interest about the foreign study stays increas every year and FCH would like to provide to every student possibility to spend part of the study abroad. All institutes of FCH cooperate in the framework of scientific - research activity with many other institutions and work places in the world. Tradicionally the faculty cooperates with Slovakian Technical University to Bratislava and with the range of research institutes in Slovakia. The cooperation is focused on the exchange lecture stays, cooperation on the interantional scientific - research projects, participation in the various types of international conferences and symposia.
Currently here is acredited procedure at the FCH with the aim to gain fellowship in EUA (European University Association) which associates more than 600 universities from more than 45 countries of Europe. FCH has possibility to take part in all important activities of EUA, supporting higher education in Europe and present itself in the european scale.
