Information for companies

Since 1992, the year of its re-opening, the Faculty of Chemistry has been stressing the cooperation with big industrial and innovative companies, aiming at successful transfer of its scientific research to industrial and commercial uses. The scientific focus of the faculty strongly reflects the specialization and research interests of its particular parts, concentrating on the fields of materials chemistry, physical and applied chemistry, chemistry and technology of environmental protection and food science and biotechnology. Two main examples of a successful cooperation should be stressed:

• many research and realization projects in which scholars and their students cooperate directly with the partner in industry

• the establishment of joint laboratories for the activities of which particular partner companies participate (CPN s. r. o. , Vyzkumny ustav pletarsky, a. s.).
